Great opportunity to see some fantastic opera! Help fundraising for Voluntary Action Islington with discount theatre tickets for Verdi’s opera Ballo (A Masked Ball), which is playing at the King’s Head Theatre in Islington until 25th May.

See details below:

‘Olivier Award-winning local company OperaUpClose have kindly offered to help the Islington Volunteer Centre with our fundraising through ticket sales to their current production of Verdi’s opera Ballo (A Masked Ball), which is playing at the King’s Head Theatre in Islington until 25th May.

Performances of Ballo are being held on Tuesday-Saturday at 7.15pm and Sundays at 3pm until 25th May. Tickets to the show are available to support the Volunteer Centre at Voluntary Action Islington at a discounted rate of £20 (normally £25), but most importantly, for every ticket bought to support the Volunteer Centre OperaUpClose will donate £8 to us!*

The Volunteer Centre helps hundreds of local residents every year to find volunteering opportunities and to make a valuable contribution to their local community. Every donation counts. £5 enables us to match a person interested in volunteering with a local community organisation.

You can book your ticket by visiting www.kingsheadtheatre.com or by calling 020 7478 0160. Remember to enter the code VAI in the promotional code box when booking online or to quote it when booking on the phone.

Ballo has had fantastic reviews and, like all OperaUpClose’s work, appeals to both opera-lovers and those new to opera alike:
