Now in its second week we are running our ‘Knit with your Grandchildren’ sessions until Wednesday 17th July only!

3.45 – 5pm every Wednesday at The Arc Centre, 98B St Paul St, N1 7DF.

Come along to learn some new patterns for children – from snakes, to mice mittens, bow badges, knitted beard disguises and much more!

Join us every Wednesday from 3.45 – 5pm at The Arc Centre, 98B St Paul St, N1 7DF for ‘Knitting with your Grandchildren’ – a new Get Together from professional knitting tutor Lydia Storan.

If you are local and over 55, come along for this FREE knitting session. Learn new knitting skills, revisit old ones and share them with your grandchildren (age 6+). If you do not have grandchildren but would like to come along, please do!

Please note each child needs to be with a responsible adult.

Join us next Wednesday at The Arc Centre for a brand new Get Together with professional knitting tutor Lydia Storan.

Bring along your primary school aged grandchildren to teach and pass on your knitting skills – and learn new ones along the way!

Bring needles and wool if you have them – some  materials will be provided.

Refreshments and tea and coffee will also be available.

Join us every Wednesday from 2 – 3.30pm for arts and crafts at Whittington Park Community Association.

Join Whittington artist Katia, and Age UK Islington Get Together hosts – artist Izzy and textile designer Jeanne – to have a chat and get creative! Whether you are a beginner or a pro, this crafty afternoon is fun, imaginative and accessible to all. All our experts are on hand to help you develop your skills whilst you relax and meet some great new people!

Bring along your own projects or start something new. We have materials kindly donated available there too – from beautiful fabrics to recycled wools, needles and toy patterns!

Enjoy a drink at The Room Cafe too!

Every Wednesday from 2 – 3.30pm join us for arts, crafts, knitting and stitching as we chat over a cuppa in The Room cafe at Whittington Park Community Association.

Making crafts in the session as well as continuing projects at home our attendees are a talented bunch who share their skills and welcome in new faces!

Joining Whittington Park’s resident artist Katia, our Age UK hosts artist Izzy and textile designer Jeanne are on hand to provide plenty of one-to-one support to get your needles clacking.
